Sometimes I do.
There is a place I go where the
ceiling has stars on it. And it makes
me realize that life has infinite
number of possibilities.
That all I have to do is reach out
and grab them to obtain my goals in Life.

The Artex, or texture-finish as it's often called in the USA, is not always the worst part; sometimes it's covering up such a mess that it has no hope of hiding anything. Or, when it has been patched and they don't match the texture. Most of my ceilings look OK, but there is one room where the lighting is such that the joints in the drywall bulge right through the texture, showing a really annoying grid pattern; no cracks, it's just ugly. I'll skim coat it someday.

Only for short periods of time. Then I start to notice things like the cobwebs and I start to feel guilty that I haven't been keeping up with the house work. So I roll onto my side and have a nap.

I did while waiting for a priest. He saw me counting the holes in it and stared at me rather confused.
