seven days - meth - i thought i was being watched from space - i nearly blew the roof off of my condo with a bathtub full of airplane fuel and a lighter - no joke - don't do meth.

I went without sleep for almost 3 days. I worked so much and I had no babysitter, so one day I was driving home on the freeway and I all of the sudden passed out. I had no control and didn't see it coming that I would fall asleep driving. I hit the guard rail off the fast lane and went all the way to the right side of the freeway. Luckily no one else got hit and luckily I am still alive. I will never go without sleep like that again.

About 4 days. I was on medication prescribed by my doctor for depression (at that time). When I eventually fell asleep, I woke up exactly a full day later and I was relieved that my bedroom was right next to the bathroom. I swear, I almost fell back asleep all over again, I was sitting there for so long and I almost started singing the "Oompa Loompa" song from "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!"

I believe it was in the 50 hour range, lol once i hit 48 i stopped counting.
It was due to work, I was doing 16 hour shifts at a RTC (6am to 10pm) and staff called in for the next shift two days in a row, So i did two 20+ hour work days (not enough time to drive home and sleep) and then my third work day was Monday starting at 6am and getting out at 4pm due to staff shortage.
Ugh
at least i have the bragging rights. lol
Now I work 10pm-6am and am usually stuck until at least 8am and have class at 12pm until 6pm, making so I have days where I have only 4 hours of sleep. lol
Woot, its amazing what you can do when you have to.

Man, a question like this sure brings out the drug addicts doesn't it.
My longest is about 56 hours and I'm not a druggie. It was the first two days of a trip to Europe.

When I was in high school, I went 3 days without sleeping. I started hallucinating and seeing purple objects. It was really weird. I won't do it again.
