The crisp cold air against my face...oh and all the snow...i love it!

Although born in the Fall, I am a Winter person at heart. My most favorite thing about winter is standing outside(usually because I get stuck with the shovelling also) listening to the snow fall, when it is late at night and very quiet. I love listening to the crisp air and quietness that comes with each snowfall. It seems most magical when the snow comes in the darkness and no one is about to disturb it. Yes, I am the nut who goes out with all the kids and plays in the snow. Sometimes, I am even worse than the kids and build snow creatures & immense snow forts. Every year I hope we get the right kind of snow...gotta be wet and gotta have lots of it for snowforts, snow people, snowballs, animals of all sizes lining my yard....We Just Gotta Have SNOW!!!! During the winter, I enjoy reading my book over a nice cup of hot coco & with a blanket over me as the rain is pouring heavily outside my window. I also enjoy taking trips to the mountain & go snowboarding & build dysfunctional looking snowman with my family & friends :) Oh! I also enjoy cuddling with that special someone around the fireplace--it feels good

It is 2am and I am out shoveling the snow from my driveway, silence all around, a hush on the world and the crisp, cold pushing it's way under my hat and into my sleeves....
The day after an ice storm, the sun is shining and everything that is coated with ice sparkles and turns the landscape into a magical place of diamonds and mirrors!
