How much did Cheney make from Halliburton's activities after 2001? Not a single dime.

Well, I don't know if the government is the MOST reliable source of information, but I'll believe them over some dope-smoking, anti-American, hippie college puke any day.

No, we really DO know. POTUS and VP are both required to divest themselves of any conflicts, like Halliburton, before they take office. It's a very bi-partisan and transparent process that Dick and George both went through.

"g" - I'm not selling anything. The divestiture requirement is common knowledge. Whether you "buy" it doesn't matter to me. Sorry the facts don't fit your pre-ordained conclusion.

do you realize that both sides just consider us too dumb to know what really matters, so who gives a **** about republican or democrat, conservative or liberal, all the "facts" that both sides give are just propaganda given to us to be distracted, the entire dem. and rep. thing is made to divide us and keep us from the political process. Do you think that being called to vote once every four years for president is really participating in government? all of this is doing nothing but furthering us from what really matters, being a part of the process.

Bush and Cheney could give millions and millions of dollars to charity but it still won't make me think any better of them, after they started this war on false pretenses and lied to the American people and the world.

it actually doesn't say "a single dime"... it just says "stock options after 2001"...
he could have had millions in regular stock (which is different than stock options) pre-2001 that he could be making millions off of... we don't really know...
EDIT: so they have to drop all stock in anything they may ever preside on? they couldn't own any stock then? they may have to quit a board if they serve on one, but I don't think it extends to stocks?
I don't buy that... many people have stock in many companies that are in similar positions?
