This is the first time I play quarterback and am good at the shotgun snap but suck at under center. Me and the center just have trouble with the indirect snap from under center. Any tips on the position of my hand like how much to push my hands between his legs to take the snap and also how to build good timing... Please

You will accept his snap however he does it. You watch the line, you watch the line, you watch the line. Pocket the rest.
Your hands better be sticky and wide, and totally ready for the buggar that is about to be handed you, and your vision better be huge.
If your center is worth his nano-second, he will put the pig where the pig need to be. Right into your concentrating brain, and he will kill anything that threatens you.
Keep your sides, keep your team, to your sides, because your center will toast your front.
Shotgun is a runner, and your ends will lose you if you let them get away.
Your eyes are your bank, and your girlfriend is your banker. Think about that.
Wanna be famous? Do it beyond what you would have otherwise. You glue your hands on that ball, then glue them accurately to another guy's hands as though there were a cable attached from him to you.
You will, because you already knew what it takes to get a serious scholarship, and it is what will make you who you always wanted to be.
You will never leave that ball until you know it will end up into a place that will make your name known forever.
So, just do that. Do it with great fervor.
Be the team. Know the team. Be a good man. Be the team, and the team will be you. Friday nights are just nuts.
You are the bullet. Make the team.

i was a center in high school and i used to snap the ball sideways. it would start off straight then once i snapped it i would turn it 90 degrees so when the qb got it he would be able to grab it easier.

the qb should have his wrists almost touching one another. its the qb's job to handle the snap. once i would hick it no matter if he had control or not i would let go and go block my guy.

jus practices with him. put ur hands right under his butt. i would make him practice a snap and i would watch from the side to see how far back he snaps it. from that judge how far ur hands need to be under his butt.

the only way to build timing is if you practice with him.

Practice for starters. Also make sure you have the ball in your hand before you drop back or get a grip to pass the ball.

You hand should be right up on his butt. Once he feels the tap get ready for the ball.
