Ultimately everything would be based on a set of Tie Breakers. There are something like 20 tie breakers that can determine who finishes ahead of another team. I am not sure what order they go in, but they include home record, away record, inner conference games, inter conference games, points for, points against, strength of schedule etc.

It is possible, but very, very unlikely. There is going to be at least 4 teams who will dominate and 4 teams who is going to stink up the field badly every Sunday.
