Not always. Sometimes I'm happier without the praise which can just feel insincere.

Apparently not. Whenever I proved I could walk on water, walking on water became part of my job description and my boss got a raise. Guess I didn't need it 'cause I never got it and I survived.

No, unless the person in question LOVES to criticize me as well. In that case they have to at least let me know when I've done alright.

No i do not. I see it in the kids i work with. When they finally get the lesson i have taught or if they tell me that i am a good teacher.

Of course I do.. we ALL do.... as long as it is sincere. Nothing worse than insincere praise.
