Toxic fumes? I have a feeling that it's a lot more than that. Could we be dealing with an alien virus? Will the US government try to keep a lid on this story in order to weaponize whatever life form is causing this illness? I plan on being vocal about this, just to keep the story fresh in people's minds, and I recommend that you do the same. Seriously, this story is a little scary.

If so did it crash or was it shot down?

The gov. will definitely try to weaponize anything they find, god knows how much we need more weapons of mass murder? If there is something there that will somehow help mankind we will have to wait until the military is done with it before the people get any benefit.

I hate to jump the gun but i'm going to bet that it is a extraterrestrial virus and if the C.D.C. hasn't been there yet then there is a good chance it will spread, can we say world wide Pandemic, this is my last night in town i'm going up to a old trapper cabin i know of, i just hope that there is a very limited range if it is is a airborne contagion because i should be safe up at the cabin.

Toxic fumes. The heat generated in a meteorite after it enters the earth's atmosphere would kill and/or vaporize any micro-organism. That's why we built incinerators in Utah and on Johnston Island to incinerate biological weapons.

I believe, it could be toxic fumes. Micro-organisms... seem a little far-fecthed, but could be possible. I'm not ruling that out, but toxic fumes, seem to be more logical.
