Both are good choices, but Big Ben faces the softest defense. Based on that I pick Roethlisberger for week three.

I say McNabb. He threw 356 yards, 69 completion %, two touchdowns, no interceptions, a 110.8 passer rating, and a rushing score in his only career start against the Lions in 2004. McNabb hasn't done much yet, but he has good history against the Lions, so he should be a nice start. Remember, third time (or week in this case) is the charm. Big Ben has 15 TDs, 6 picks, and a 101.5 passer rating against the NFC. He also has an 89.3 rating when playing at home, but regardless of all that the 49ers have stopped two good QBs in Leinart and Bulger. Big Ben isn't a bad option, but he's not the best one either.
Bottom Line: McNabb should be started this week, but you won't lose out too much if you start Roethlisberger instead.

Stay away from Roelthisbooger. He does nothing but snot all over his own players in the huddle. They will start calling false starts for the snot rockets he blows out during his cadences. Just when you think there could be no more boogers, he starts coughing up loogeys. These aren't your normal post-nasal drip loogeys, no sir, these are the rock hard, gold nugget sized luges that make a zoo poo shoveler gag. Would you want to catch a ball that his hands have touched? I THINK NOT!
Also, Mcnabb has been off to a slow start but he has an amazing amount of talent and is playing against a suspect Detroit secondary. The 2-0 49's D has looked great so far and will be a tough matchup for Boogerraker.
