Hello, I'm going to restore my computer with the restore disk but I need to know if I need to have anything besides the disk to restore it? On my last computer when i restored it i had to type in some sort of number, will I need to type in a number for this computer and where can i find that number.

I have an emachines by the way

If the restore disk is the real manufactures restore CD, then all the drivers should be on the CD, you may need to have Windows activation product KEY number.. that should be on a sticker on the side of your computer case, it is the windows license key number it as 25 numbers you may need to type the numbers in when and if windows ask you for the key number

You will erase everything on your harddrive, so you first need to back up your data / e-mails / photos / music / etc. so you can put them back on the machine. You need the windows serial number (activation key), you need the installation CDs or programs for every program you added to your machine after you bought it, if you still want them on the machine after you are done. You need the drivers for every piece of hardware that you added to the machine, as well as any upgrades to existing software / hardware. And of course you need a lot of time, because it may take a while to get things back in order.

It is often better and more time saving to fix a windows machine than to use the restore disk.
