I am not circumsized and when i go to have sex with a girl my foreskin doesn't pull all the way back, so it hurts when i stick it in. Is this normal for men or should I have it checked out and possibly get circumsized? Help Please!!!

If you have a tight foreskin, you can actually stretch it like I did. When you shower. =) That fixed mine and I haven't had a single problem down there since.

Work on getting it less tight. Here's what you do. When you shower and soaping up your body, pull the foreskin back the most you can without forcing it, and then wash the head there underneath. If you do this for a few weeks each day, you'll see results. It'll slide back a little more every few days.

(and this part is in case your head is too sensitive to touch; might not be if you've been able to pull the foreskin back when soft) Now, as for the sensitivity, as studies have proven, the foreskin keeps the head sensitive. That's not a bad thing, since that creates pleasure. However, you don't want it too sensitive. Yours is just too sensitive because it hasn't been used much before. So you just have to rub it gently at first for some weeks and you'll see the difference. Then you'll be able to rub the head however you want. =) So in a way, those two things are tied.

So yeah, work on it and in a few weeks you'll like it. =) And of course, feel free to e-mail me from my profile if you have any questions!

You do NOT need circumcision. And you have every right to remain uncircumcised, as after all, circumcision does carry risks and most 'benefits' are unfounded or contradicted. There's a reason why the USA is the last developed nation doing it to newborns, and our rates are falling; it's as low as 14% in some states by now.

If you work on it, everything will eventually be fine, as it was for me. (is for me, I mean)

In the end, if the stretching fails after a few weeks, you can ask a doctor for a cream. It's 0.05% betamethasone, which is successful in over 90% of cases. You can even take the study to him. It's a really inexpensive cream; Wal-Mart sells it for $4 with prescription and online you can buy it for about $10 at drugstore.com, for example.

It sounds like your foreskin is a bit tight, a condition called phimosis. Thankfully, it's usually really easy to treat and circumcision would be overkill (and expensive).

The first thing you should try are something called stretching exercises. See link 1 for good and detailed instructions on what to do. You should do those exercises for a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month, preferably right after a shower/bath when the foreskin's most flexible.

If after a month or so with little/no progress, then ask a doctor about certain prescription creams that'll help loosen the foreskin. In one study, these creams are the most cost-effective treatment a doctor can provide (link 2, names of creams in one of the tables). The creams may take a month or two to get the full effect, but you can generally speed things up a bit by combining them with the stretching exercises.

In almost all cases of phimosis the above 2 treatments (or a combination of the two) are all that's necessary. Rarely will any kind of surgical intervention be needed, so you should ignore any comments/suggestions telling you to get circumcised, as that's really overkill.

See the remaining links for some more helpful info and good luck with whatever you try.

It certainly is NOT normal for a foreskin to be non-retractable in the way that you describe and sex will never be satisfactory for either you or your female partner until the problem is cured. Some people here will tell you you that stretching your foreskin using various "creams" is the answer. These people are the anti-circumcision club members and they should be ignored because they have an agenda. Circumcision will put things right for you and will also give you the well proven benefits that all circumcised men enjoy - better hygiene, health, comfort, appearance, self-esteem, freedom from smegma accumulation and FAR better sexual sensation during intercourse for both you and your female partner(s). Most experienced women also much prefer a circumcised man as a sexual partner. There are simply NO disadvantages to being circumcised and you should not hesitate for a moment.

With practice (masturbation or sex) your foreskin will accustom itself and become more elastic. It's normal to feel a little pain the first couple times you have sex, but if the pain is excruciating go to a doctor, you might need surgery (not specifically circumcision).

1] OK< take a month off, and work on it!
2] do gentle stretching several times a day, ideally in the shower or tub.Stretch to the point you feel the stretch, but no pain.
3] if any part of glans [ head of penis ] or foreskin gets irritated, apply some antibiotic ointment and take a day or two off.
4] if this doesn't work after a month, see a doctor about some steroid [ betamethasone ] cream used with 'massage' for treatment.
[ They used to do circumcisions for all types of adhesions
[ foreskin stuck to glans ] of penis, but the circumcised patients had a lot more complications than non-circumsized. ]

It sounds like you have phimosis, unfortunately this is a very common problem among uncircumcised males. I was circumcised when I was 19 and I think it was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. Sex should not be painful. By choosing circumcison you will never have to worry about having a tight forskin and all the pain it brings. Despite what others may think, circumcision is very beneficial. Take it from a guy that's experienced life and sex in both forms uncircumcised and now circumcised. Schedule an appointment with your urologist. Best of luck.

Go see a doctor. You may have a tight foreskin. Don't worry it can be solved easily by today medical advances.

Go and get checked out by the doctor....if you try and pull it back forcibly you may get cracked skin which will bleed, heal and cause more scarring and a tighter foreskin. You could also accidentally get paraphymosis...so circumcision may solve your problems.

Circumcision probably won't be necessary unless no stretching or creams work, or you really really want it (dunno why). If you pull it back a little bit more every day you should notice a difference after a few weeks.
