Yes and no. I need to know that I am accepted by the people I care most about. As far as society, nah.

I think deep down even the people who claim no will or have needed to feel accepted...so i'm not gonna lie and pretend to be macho i'm a loner i dont care type and say YES

I don't need acceptance but if I feel that someone is erroneous in their reasons for NOT accepting me, I have the urge to try to set them straight.

Of coarse I feel the need to be accepted. Nobody likes rejection. We all need love. Sorry I can't think of anything else to add. I hope you find my answer acceptable. ;-)

not anymore.. it used to be a big deal but now that i know.. everyone is going to hurt you and no one is going to be there forever.. at all times.. except yourself.. thats all i need i just need to accept myself for who i am. and not care about what anyone else thinks

It is nice to feel wanted, but no they don't like me well it's their problem. I can only be happy being me. If people don't like it oh well, everyone is concerned bout beauty all the time.

you know I used to! till my ex-best friend said he was never my friend...I read a book called "Approval Addiction" by Joyce Meyer...was the best book for me....you are worth a lot without a lot of peoples opinion...the author is a preacher...but don't let that worry you...the book will help you and it helped me....good luck!
