Anywhere from 6 months to 2 weeks before the baby is born - you should ask the mother to be's mom when a good time would be - they usually like to to an active part of planning and they are great for getting momma to be there as a surprise...

The sooner the better babies can come early - and new moms need time to wash and organize everything

Good luck

U should have a lest a month ahead so u can get all the things u have ready and known what u have to get. One of my gifts I got was diapers and it wa like 104 diapers, lotion, diaper bags, clothes, bibs, socks and so much more. Some of those things was helpful, I took them with to the hospital. But all the things I got was useful when that baby came home. Also u can have after the baby come. But mostly like u want to have it before. So have a month early, because the baby comes when he or she decide. I happy that u r having a bundle os joy. I had my baby last year in November and they grow up so fast. Enjoy, take picture and video record.

Most people generally do it two months or so before the due date. In my case I am due right after the first of the year so we are going to be having mine about 4months early to advoid having it during the holidays. I think less people will attend due to trying to cover the holidays for family and all. Really once past the first trimester I don't think anytime is too early, but the earlier you have it the longer you will have to look at all the baby stuff with no baby yet.

about 2 months before if the norm but after having two babies early and everything I say do it 3 months before if you want. I don't think they do it any earlier than 3 months before though. Some wait and have a Come Meet the Baby Party after baby is born so people can meet the little one they are bringing gifts for

It depends on when her family and/or friends decide to have the party.

Most women I know have their shower 1-2 months before the baby is due.

Most baby showers I have gone to were about a month from the due date cause you dont want to do it to early and something happens and than you dont wanna do it to close and she goes in labor before hand.GL

my baby sower was 12 days before my due date with my first and she was born nine days early so we barely got the things put away and she was home to enjoy them!

with my son it was a little longer because we didn't want to make the same mistake twice, LOL but he was 9 days late!!!

I would say 2 wekks to a month before the due date!!!

I always throw one four or six weeks before. Babies are unpredictable. She might not feel up to it the closer it gets also. It also leaves plenty of time to get everything washed and organized.
