The latest UN report on population projects that the world population will peak at about 10 billion in 2050 and then start to decline. Fertility rate have been falling rapidly almost everywhere over the last 50 years and already some countries have negative population growth. Russia and the EU have shrinking populations and the US would if not for immigration. China's birth rate is below replacement level and India's only a little above and decreasing.

If America will just stop freaking out and let developing countries DEVELOP in peace... and allow the time for the population to change from workers to educated people - their desire for children will decrease!!!!!!!!!

Children costs a lot of money and time in an urban setting.
You have to make sure you have money for things like education, increased spending, and so on.... and someone will have to be with s/he either babysit or daycare for up to 8 years of s/he's life!!! Its a big commitment and frankly as people are getting more goal orientated and educated and want to really live their lives, dont want children early on or dont want them at all.

That it will be over-populated with people. There will be fewer resources available to the population because there will be too many people on the Earth.

It looks pretty good. we will get it together soon and we will get rid of alot of useless people and we will flourish and multiply in a good way. but first we must wait for the earth to get thru the wash cyle then we can be clean and fresh to start again.
