I am filled with emotions for the past month. I don't know what's going on with me, but everything seemes perfect and now it seems like 5 minutes of fun are over, and I need to get out of this hell hole. I'm most likely going to San Francisco. Are people there generally nice? Any wonderful hippies left there?

Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair...
I went there once, and the people were generally nice. Stay away from the Market St area though... lot of porn shops on that street. And the city blocks there are a half-mile long...
Not sure if you'll find hippies, but there are a lot of leftists there who protest EVERYTHING... even the right to protest.

I was amazed by how I was able to speak to complete strangers on the famous Bay Area Rapid Transit or B.A.R.T.
There are more hippies in Los Angeles than in San Fransisco.
What hell hole were you referring to?

I doubt it. I was there in the late 60s and all of the hippies were gone by the time I got there so I doubt there's many left. It was pretty damn dismal. Oregon's really pretty though and some of my old, more "hippiesh" friends from college eventually ended up there.

I have to say the part I went to had a lot of homeless people... one guy even pretended to be a valet attendent. But all I wanted to do was sit and read in Golden Gate Park. It is beautiful there so I think it would be okay.

Not many hippies left. They have been replaced by annoying gutter punks. But, you can still have fun, and it is one of my favorite places. And most people are still pretty cool there.

yes they are nice. i go to S.F. all the time
it just depends who you talk to
some people are mean
others are nice
but thats what its like everywhere
