What color(s) of eyeshadow enhances blue eyes? I've heard purple, is that true?

bronze and copper shades work best on my blue eyes, purple looks awful, it washes out my eyecolor.

Purple?
No, that would be for green.
But it depends too. Clear blue eyes can look amazingly shocking and delicious with any bright, candy colour eyeliner.
But if you want to bring out the blue in your eyes, I'd suggest using some golden/toasty browns.
Yeah, brown sounds boring, but it's so much more. It's the best type of smoky eye, because it looks like you're naturally gorgeous and fab (I'm sure you are, but this enhances it!).
Also, it will match with everything. Purple dress? Go ahead, and wear your brown eyeshadows, because they won't clash.
Yellow? Sure, but go lighter!
You get the point. ;)
Well, enjoy!
(P.S. If you want to enhance your eyecolour, don't just buy one shade of a certain colour. Buy about 3-4. One that's very light and pale, one that's a little darker and bolder, and one that's the darkest you want. That way, you put the lightest all over your eye, top it off with the medium one on your eyelid, and the darkest around your lashes.)

Dark glittery green or brown.
Brown will show off ur eyecolour really well but dont use purple unless it is a really really light purple then u can smear a tiny bit over ur brown eyeshadow!

Natural tans, browns, neutrals. Eyes need extra moisturizer with the tugging and pulling of putting make-up on and off your face.

Probably start getting wrinkles early on instead of your fifties.

Are you using sun protection makeup?
