Absolutely not~That's my very honest opinion. I decided I was definitely not a fan very soon after the show went on the air. These caricatures of people were like the ones on Seinfield: They HAD to be friends with each other because no one else would be friends with them. Occasionally, I would tune in to see if the writing and acting had improved at all. I continued to be disappointed.

I am not a fan of any of these actors and actresses, and, when I've watched their films, saw the same level of acting that kept me away from the series.

I also give thumbs down to Seinfeld, Mad About You, Everybody Loves Raymond (If they do, why are they always berating him, and why does everyone fight all of the time?), Drew Carey in any of his incarnations, especially his Show, and many other much-touted sitcoms.

They may prove me wrong. Ten years or more from now, they may be in syndication. I might give them a chance again.

I'll reserve my "best" vote for another situation comedy.

Hmmm... If Seinfeld wasn't about anything, why is it called a sitcom? Of course they had a plot! Every one of them did!

Was it the most influential, no. Was it the most groundbreaking, no. Was it all white people and no ethnic diversity, yes. All that being said, I could care less, it was definitely the funniest sitcom ever. People will argue Seinfeld as the funniest, but honestly, when I watch their reruns, the episodes I thought were originally hilarious aren't quite as funny as I remembered. The friends episodes still hold up as hilarious and still get me to laugh even when I know line for line what they are going to say. If thats not a sign of the greatness of the show, I don't know what is.

It's an ok show but no even close. Not even in my top 20. Maybe in my Top 40. I never cared for Seinfeld much either but I think the humor was better on Seinfeld. I would say you have to put Cheers, MASH, Roseanne, Frasier,That '70s Show, Murphy Brown, Will & Grace, Coupling (UK), The Office (US), Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, I Love Lucy, and a host of other classics ahead of it. Wow, I don't even think it would make my top 40.

It was good definitely, but many sitcoms were better (including some awesome Brit shows).

Yes, it's my favorite. I was in college when it first came on and me and two of my friends felt like we could relate to the show. Also, the theme song "I'll Be There For You" was the song that described my friendship with these two friends.

Not even close. Seinfeld, Bosom Buddies, Barney Miller were all much better.
