she was acting like a 12 year old girl yesterday and today. granted the kiss john planted on her to "shut her up" was hot, but come on....she was acting like a complete idiot.

The Marty today is pathetic all around!!! Come on, she's the all-around poster girl for 'victim of the week'!!!
Maybe it's just that it's so hard for me to even get used to this Marty ... she's SOOO different from Susan Haskall's Marty! I've got nothing against the actress, but I think she made the wrong choices in portraying how Marty would act. Susan Haskall's Marty was a stronger woman who came through a rape (somewhat scarred, a LOT more grown-up) and knew what she wanted out of life. She had a LOT more spark and fire; she never just sat back and let life happen to her. She might've done some things the same, but it would've been in a way in which she wouldn't have come off looking like a victim! Marty's NOT a victim! She's WAAAYYYY stronger!!!
Marty and John? I don't see it; maybe for a short fling, but not forever. I think John and Evangeline were like the Greatest Supercouple on the show! Haven't seen the new Evangeline yet (I've missed the show a lot because of school) ... but I really pray that she does the role justice. I'm gonna really miss Renee Elise Goldsberry. She's always gonna be Evangeline to me. But ... maybe if Susan Haskall were back as Marty, I could see a John and Marty thing going on.

I don't think the actress who portrays Marty's character is very talented. She can't even cry on cue. I don't like Marty's character to begin with.
