i have used the blower for about 4 months, minimal use, maybe 10 times. I pulled the cord and it just stopped and jammed, not it just dangles. I took everything apart yesterday to get to the cord to fix it (this took a while b/c it is buried deep in the casing)...but when i got close, there is a huge ball of wires in a circular pattern that exploded out everywhere! What is that? Do i need that to go back in for it to work? How can i fix this blower??!! it is a weedeater featherlite. Thank you!!

All that wire that came out is the spring that retracts the pull cord.....They are a pain in the butt if you don't know what you are doing......If you never replaced one I suggest you take it to repair shop to fix it. The first time I took one apart it took me about 3 hours to figure it out.....It's a easy fix when you figure it out..... Any lawn mower shop can fix it....
That's why the cord got jammed because the spring broke or came apart........

I have had several poulans apart and never had a huge ball of wires come out. I don't understand what you are doing. The starter is on the output shaft. There aren't many wires in the machine. Please provide more information.
