Did she state a reason for burning the money & not telling anyone? Also, doesn't she realize that the cops will put the pieces together that she was staying overnight in that room & found the cash which will lead her into more trouble. I just can't figure this chick out? can anybody else share insight? thanks.

She only burned some of the money. She's keeping a wad of it for herself. She was on the computer at the coffee shop and found a place where they shred currency. She got some of that and burned it with putting pieces of the "bad" money partially burned in with it, so the cops think it was the money they are looking for.
Daniel got the room from Gina so I don't think their names will be associated with it, or Gina won't say anything. Since the fire was in the vent system, it could really start up at any time do to environmental reasons.... but, in the next room was Bardwell's twin brother. He seen Amber come out of that room. That was stupid of her to be seen like that. Don't know her thought process for that. Your guess is as good as mine. But, don't waste your time pondering about Amber...

Didn't anyone else see the preview were Maggie confronts Amber about renting Ji Min's room? She only burned some & left the serial numbers showing. How in the hell does she think she'll get away with renting that room & burning some of the money in vent. Maybe her twisted realization is that the cops will blame it on the person who murdered Ji Min. Wow by renting that room she just upped her anty of being a suspect.

I think she did it to draw attention to the money to prove that no one in the group had it. But I don't think it will work because surely the cops will figure out that the fire originated in the bag of money AFTER Ji Min died. Then they'll wonder who knew that the money was their and why he/she burned it.

So her greedy behind could keep it. She figured Daniels mom & dad have money, Kevins got a business and a good job and his mom has money & his brother is a lawyer, she didn't have anyone.
