In a word, yes. Licking is not likely to give enough of a dose to have an effect. But a large enough dose to hallucinate could also KILL. Leave it alone.

Don't worry. A little lick is probably no thing.

A few bites might make a person really sick. Too is death, and in a very painful way. Real craziness.

If this friend often does such things stay away. Trouble will catch him. The spirits of Datura will ot be kind to those who tease it.

Hello----I am a Certified Master Gardener.

Any of the Daturas (Brugmansia, etc.) contain an EXTREMELY POWERFUL HALLUCINOGEN
.
I know of reports where people have DIED from it.
I will not tell you the means by which the toxins are utilized, because I don't want you and your friends DOA.

Here, the Datura Brugmansias cannot be planted in front yards. And it may soon be outlawed completely----I hope so.

Do not even be curious about this plant. It is worse than Peyote. It can cause PERMANENT INSANITY. People have ended up confined for life in STATE PSYCH HOSPITALS.

BEWARE BRUGMANSIA!

Drug abuse is life abuse.

Stay safe & sane.
