I have the wireless modem connected to a desk top and am trying to access it with WiFi. I don't know the name of my WiFi network or the password or how to change them

just give them the password (if there is one), and then all they have to do is just find your network on the list, and connect to it.

access the router. Should be 192.168.1.1 just type it inot a web browser. you'll need an admin name and password (not your network password) you can find the default password on the manufacturers website. you can change all those settings in there

if that is not the right IP, go Start>run>type "cmd">enter

Type "ipconfig -all" the default gateway is the address you want.

if you don't have the manual try going to your manufacture's website and download the manual but if you never put a password on your router probably its open
