rightly or wrongly, hitler had the guts to make a stand for what he believed in, so did the IRA. im ex army, and did two tours of ulster, so dont accuse me of sympathising. so did many more people in history. people with courage, as i say right or wrong. why then in the so called GREAT britain today, we have no one. we let the country be overrun and crippled by immigration, were oppressed by our leaders, we have no freedome of speech, our rights are eroding daily, and us so called GREAT british people, who once ruled half the world, sit and take it. we used to have an empire, now all we have is a dustbin, and were just holding the lid down instead of being brave. why????

You are correct. We welcome anyone and everyone to our country and then mollycoddle them when they try to blow us up. If I express my views and these views don't correspond to anyone else they have the cheek to give me a thumbs down, they forget that I have the right to my ideals even if they are different from other people's.

The fact of the matter is that most of our politicians secretly agree that these immigrant theives and muggers should be thrown out, or better still not allowed here in the first place. They just havn't got the guts to follow their instincts.

The time will arrive when the 'worm will turn' and all the wrongs will be put right. We have got a breaking point and this will soon be reached.

The biggest problem with the UK is the culture of - ME,ME,ME.

Greed is good in the new age UK. Nobody cares what happens to others on condition it does not affect them personally. They are too concerned with making money to actually care what happens to anyone outside their own life.

It is a culture that the Government uses to its own advantage knowing full well that the majority will accept any decision it makes on condition it does affect them personally.whilst the minority have no choice through lack of numbers and cohesive action.

I have long had the belief that there is collusion between the Government and the media regarding the big issues of the day. They use the "feel good factor". To my mind the loss of a member of our forces is a far more important news story than a footballer changing teams. But watch the coverage - maybe 15 seconds for a fallen soldier and 10 minutes for the trivial story on football. Ask people who have watched both reports and you'll be lucky if they can give you the name of the soldier because the second story erases the first from memory - the "feel good factor" has kicked in.

Its an old trick and it works. The use of trivia news to bury bad news works well in this country. It keeps the mass happy and allows the powers that be to get on with running our lives without too much protest.

So what would you do to change things? . In the very near future there will be a general election, you will have choice of voting for a party (BNP) that says it will end mass migration into the UK and remove us from the EU.. What then? would you roam the streets looking for immigrants ? would send them to concentration camps?- would you shoot gas and burn them?. Just like your idol Adolph!.

Adolph Hitler was from another time!. The IRA was from another time.. (they both lost by the way) -Things have changed in the world and the very fact that you are able to rant on the world wide web is tantamount to being no loss of freedom of speech. in other counties you could be shot gassed or sent to a gulag for saying what you have said!.

BRITAIN IS GREAT! not just great for the obvious things but for the inconspicuous things as well, Britain is great for its ability to befriend and offer succour to those peoples who need its. Britain is great cos its unselfish and harmonious.. You should be proud that this Green and pleasant land is fit for hero's paid for with the blood of many brave men and women and I think you are doing them a huge disservice by your mention of Hitler who in fact was the worst kind of coward/bully. His 1000 master plan plunged the world into war killed very nearly 50 million people! some how I don't think he is a good example to use . Unless you are a nazi!

Well, Britain and British Common Law did give birth to the 4 largest democracies in the world. That's got to mean something.

Your rights are going down the tubes. Faster even than they are here in the US. I was hoping that dealing with the latest tube attempted bombings would wake the people up, but maybe not.

Because the U.K. is full of politically correct middle class prats, plus i reckon the Maggie Thatcher era ruined this country. People used to stand together but she managed to kick that out of us. There was a time when people were proud to be British now there`s nothing to be proud of.

Great Britain earned that name in the past. I can understand why you feel it is undeserving of it now.

Britain and the US have so much in common. We are both great warrior nations but unfortunately, there are no great enemies for us. If there were, we (and I say we because the US and England pretty fought side by side in every major conflict in the last century) would unite within our own borders, forget the petty differences between each other and fight side by side. Now who do we get? A bunch of piss ants 3rd world countries who's only real value to us (and the world for that matter) is the oil reserves they site on. They can't just sell us the oil and let all be well, they have to throw rocks at us. Unworthy military opponents every last one.

Pretty damn sad.

Sorry it is the present Government that have dragged us down and they are the responsibility of those who voted for them and those who withheld their vote at the last three elections. We are now run by a bunch of Brussels and Washington YES men who are frightened by their own shadows.

At Last a like minded person well done hurrahussar.
the problem is not enough of us left to make a difference, no matter what we say the bureaucrats have to much power, & the people have none. the problem also is its too late to make a stand cause theirs to many foreigners.

before people slate me as racist hear me out i dont mind a number of immigrants coming over to this country as long as they pay their way & follow this countries laws & rules.
I bet a lot of the immigrants wouldnt stand up & fight side by side for this country but are happy enough to ponce of it. its them sort of people we dont want in this country.
