I camped in a tent for six weeks whilst working on a drill site, by the end of it, the tent was faded, the ropes had snapped, pegs had gone missing. If I had to choose it would be a tee pee or the open air, nothing like laying out a mattress and sleeping under the stars.

Tee Pees. Tents are derived from the idea of tee pees except it's not invented as well.

Been in both, tents are easy to put up, Tee-pee are harder and take mor ppl to set up, but are lot more roomier for doing something with the right someone , tents are OK but limited room for standing...tents are more more cozy with the right someone, NIF

I would have to say Tents.
That is how I used to go
camping when I was little.
My friend, sister and I
where fighting so my parents
left us and went fishing while
we had to put up the tent ourselves...
in order to have a place to sleep.
We had to learn to solve our differences
and work together. It was the best thing
for us in the end.

Well, for me it is a tent...a 10'X12' canvas wall tent, to be exact. But they both have their advantages and disadvantages. Oh, by the way, it is spelled tipi. Best wishes!
