Yes Richard, most of us care but those little people helping here and there don't grab the attention of the world. I have just stopped watching the evening news, can't take it anymore. We're trying, most of us. I have been making some amazing discoveries lately about small groups (but millions of them) around the world that are working very hard to change this world. Take heart. All is Well and we will put it all together one of these days.

Almost everyone cares. It is just so hard to save the world single handedly. Sure give some money here or there, volenteer a little. But if anyone gave all there money or all there time to saving the world. They would most likely be on the side of the world to die. Its just the truth. You can't help everyone, people have tried. It just doesn't work out.
But what are you doing to save the world?

Richard, I think that some people care about what's going on around them, and just them at that time. Then there are the ones that just don't care at all. Then you get the ones who really care and go out of their way to help someone or some...thing and pay it lip service later and say I did THIS and THAT and now I'm done for the day, week, year and so on. The Question is: How are we changing things, how are we making things happen, and how are we going about doing it? The answers are in ourselves.............LRMM

I used not to care. But now that I'm older I do. I see a lot of pain in this world and have felt a good part of it. I don't want anyone to feel that way and it's my goal to try and help as many people out of the day as I can, in whatever ways I can.

Yes they care, they just aren't sure what to do for these people. One time, I was at a huge dinner party and a young man started choking to death and every one stood around embarrassed so I jumped over there and assisted. He lived to tell the tale, but the facts are, people just don't know what to do.

Truthfuly, I think the majority of people say they care... but they won't do anything to help the person in need, they may say oooh that poor guy... then you drive right by him...

Faith without works is dead...
In other words sympathy without actions means nothing, if you care yet you don't do anything, what was the point in caring at all?

it's a cold world out there, and i'm afraid that it's only getting colder. my only hope is that people with money and fame are now setting good examples (Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, etc.). But, you don't need a ton of money to make a difference. Start with a smile to a stranger........you'll be amazed at how quickly the world thaws out.

I care. Many people care, but there is a diffusion of responsibility (nobody thinks it's their responsibility to fix the problem).
