pharmacy college (0+6), (2+4)?

Hi, I am currently in a college that does not offer the major pre-pham; but I am transfering next year to a college that offers pharmacy. I want to know the main differences between a (0+6) and (2+4) pharmacy college. I know that a 2+4 requires you to apply to pharmacy school in your sophomore year of college and usually requires some papers of recommendation. Is it true that a 0+6 pharmacy school guarentee you into pharmacy school as long as you maintain the required GPA?

(My current choices are ULM and Xaxier University of New Orleans.--any suggestion on which is a better choice?)

An 0+6 program is one you are accepted into right after high school. There is no transfer or PCAT to worry about.
The 2+4 or 4+4 schools, you have to transfer into after 2 years of prereqs or a bachelors.
From what I hear about Xavier is if you don't do prepharm there, it is very hard to be accepted.

I believe what you mean is a 0-6 year program, not 0+6 year program. The 0-6 year program means that you are doing 2 years of undergrad coursework basically, fulfilling requirements for pharm school. Once you have finished the requirements, then you will spend the next 4 years in pharm school. The 2+4 is basically this. So they are both the same thing.

Now for the school, I would choose one that is already accredited. There are so many new schools popping up everywhere that it is hard to keep track.
