I don't know if you can call any of them historical yet. Give it a few decades.
Some events that may be considered historical include the two invasions against Iraq, the WTC bombing in 1993, the Unabomber, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Northridge Earthquake in 1994, Ross Perot, Columbine and the spate of school shootings, Bill Clinton's impeachment, Hillary Clinton becoming the first first lady to hold elective office, GWB's chicanery to become president, the attacks of 9/11/01, Hurricane Katrina, and the Indian Ocean tsunami.
No particular order here.

The fraudulent elections of Dubba Bush, the 2003 blackouts, invasion of Iraq, (both of them) 9/11, Clinton gets caught soliciting bribes from the Chinese, a couple spy cases of treason, some bad Earth quakes and Hurricanes, the stock market drop from the 1990's record highs, the turn of the century and millennium, a couple eclipses (both solar and lunar) a couple meteor showers that were most impressive, the LA riots, Korea is becoming closer with its Northern cousin and had a working train built between nations, the Soviet Union collapsed and that is the best I can remeber to my ability, the 2ky bug (all was in a panic out of fear of utter collapse of our system, all that happen was the lights went off and then on.) .
