Is it a new car, or a used one? How many miles are on it?

It should be covered under a new car warranty, but it is doubtful that it would be covered. Most used car warranties are power-train only!

If your car is brand new, it should be covered but since you already changed your pads, I can say that you already put alot of mileage on them. Brake parts are usually considered "wear item" and is therefore not warrantied. But try anyway. Now if you got your brakes changed at a non-dealership then......good luck on this one because the dealer can say that, that shop messed up your calipers.

Brake calipers should be covered under your vehicle's New Car Warranty period. They would not be covered under any Power Train - type of warranty. Calipers fail for one of two reasons: the piston seals leak and/or the pistons themselves bind and seize in their bores. So, depending on the time/mileage that your car has accumulated, you may or may not have covereage.
Hope this helps.

This may sound a little vague but: Some are....some aren't.
It all depends on the vehicle, mileage, service department, etc.

I have seen some calipers warrantied and some not, it really depends on the vehicle. Better to ask directly where you are having the vehicle serviced.

probably not they consider drive train parts to be covered but usually not brake parts, unless it tells you that they are covered in the warranty ,there probably not going to be covered, good luck.
