Explain how u got this answer please, I'm taking a quiz about this tomorrow.

-6+9 is encllosed so its the absolute value...that means even if its negative its gonna be positive because it is however far from 0. trust me i have a quiz tomorrow too on this in algebra 1. anyway thats 3/-2 which is is negative three over two, just an improper fraction, but if you must work it out it's -1.5. cya

I-6+9I Divided by (-2)
= I-6+9I / -2

soln 1: (-6+9) / -2
= 3/-2
= -3/2

soln 2: -(-6+9) / -2
= - (3) / -2
= 3/2

in the absolute value symbols the answer is 3

so 3 divided by -2 = -1 1/2

do |-6+9| first then u get |3| (the | | means absolute value-meaning how far it is from 0) so it wood b 3/(-2) it wood b -6 (negative times/divided by a positive or vise versa = a negative)

(10I-6)/ (-2)
is the same thing at multiplying by -0.5 (one half)
so minus times plus= minus
minus times minus= plus
-5I+3
