I know you're looking for name suggestions, not my kind of advice, but I have to ask: why are you freaking out about this?

I never knew the sex of either of my babies, and we didn't have names picked out before their births. I wanted to see and get to know them a bit before we gave them names.

Our oldest child was nameless for three days. We gave her a name minutes (literally) before we were discharged from the hospital. And we only did it because the Vital Records people kept calling.

Our second child was nameless from her birth on a Tuesday morning until the following Monday. We took her home and everything, with no name, and tried out a bunch of different ones over the weekend.

It's no big deal to phone in the name later, and you can be surer that you actually like the name and it suits your child.

Not having a name also means that you can consult the L&D nurses, and they know EVERYTHING. If your favorite name is being overused, they'll let you know.

Don't sweat it.

I love the name Logan James! I am sure you'll find a good girls name to go with it.

Here are some unisex irish names that will go well with Logan:
Reagan (prince/princess)
Devin (poet)
Delaney (challenger)
Taran (from the rocky hill)
Dillan (from the sea)
Lyla (island girl)
Evan or Evanna (young warrior)
Fallon (ruler)
London

And some feminine ones:
Deirdre (wanderer)
Teagan (beautiful)
Alana (beautiful/little one)
Tara (rocky hill)
Farrah (beautiful)
Caitlin (pure)

Go to www.babynamesworld.com you can see only irish names, or only unisex names, or even enter the number of syllables you want...

This site allows you to access a page complete with unisex baby names. In additiob, you can become a member and that entitles you to create a list of names you like, which you're free to settel upon at a later date. Personally, I like the unisex names Peyton and Indiana, although both are becoming more popular. However, they do sound more like girls names.

I had a tough time with my third baby (1st daughter)

My husband picked Alyssa from a list of names that I liked, and then coming up with a middle name was tough.......I ended up watching TV/Movie credits just to see people's names LOL My daughter ended up being Alyssa Joelle B******, and then my fourth baby was also a girl, we chose Cora Jade (Cora cute, and Jade a little trendy).

I like unisex names too, or even just a girly name that could be shortened into a unisex name (Joelle -Jo).
