Who does it haunt more?

i am going to say the detective.

even though he was trying to do a good thing the fact that he couldnt bring the killer to justice and give the family closure will haunt him. detectives get really personal in certain cases that touch them. defense lawyers have a job to defend regardless of how they 'feel' about thier client. i would say if it were the prosecutor who lost a case against the murderer it would haunt him more than a defense attorney who just did his job. come to think of it, why dont you just ask johnny cochran?

what we have with the lawyer is working ethics V's morals. A good lawyer should always work with good ethics(no morality is needed). All the the good lawyers are criminal lawyers because they can separate the two, and the not so good end up representing green peace.

anyway the cr*p detective should feel more guilty because he his paid to solve case's, the lawyer as nothing to feel guilty about because he as done is job properly.

sI honestly don't think that either of these professionals have much guilt or hauntings in their lives. An honest person with a lot of sensitivity couldn't do either of these jobs. Sorry if I offended anyone, that's just my opinion.

For the fun of answering your question, I will say the detective. Because he is probably wondering where hasn't he looked yet.
