I have been around boys most my life; brothers, mates at school, work colleagues and when a girl flirted with them they would laugh at her and think it was cute. But you really can't stop a person from flirting, I've known guys who have been the biggest flirts and still are to this day and they have a woman. Look if your good at it love and you can get the guy don't try and stop, but if you've got the guy than you shouldn't have to be putting so much effort into it, but if you do it for the attention, then sunshine it's time to find another avenue. Instead of flirting why don't you show some maturity and skill, show some talent and not just with your body language and words. Your better than that and you should really show more respect for yourself.

omg, i have the same problem. honest!
do you think it could be because most of our positive reinforcements came via our looks and now we need to consistently be reassured with flattery and praise on our beauty. cause give a guy that shy little look or come hither smile or what ever it takes to get his admiration and they can be putty in our hands. only too much attention scares the bejeeses out of me. ok, well, good luck with that.
oh, to answer the question, maybe we could look at the ground and hope no ones looking... hope you don't think i'm making fun. i never really thought of it as such a handicap but it is. i'll be watching this ? and if no good answers, i'll resubmit... oh, who am i kidding, no will take this seriously. sorry. stay pretty, may be all we'll ever have. :(

I like to flirt a lot with girls, but I know when to take it back a step. Girls on the other hand, more often than not, like to go into the "teasing" phase... and if my assumption is correct here, the fix is gaining some self-respect and confidence.
Flirting should come to you, not you creating it :)

Yeah I know, Its hard to stop! I love to flirt at the gas station while pumping my gas and its amazing how many people do it. I guess just think of other things while your in public and try not to make eye contact with anybody.

I don't have a flirting problem, but every time I walk into a new group of people I always scout out everybody, looking for the hot guys...........=D It's a girl thing.

Why stop? I flirt when I see a good looking young lady. But you have to know the line. My faience' & I flirt with outher people when the outher is there or not. Because we know the line.

You stop, by quit thinkin every guy wants you, you stop by thinking that this guy might get hurt if you flirt around with him and he finds out you don't feel anything for him.
Guys like a flirt, but they hate a girl that flirts around with every single guy. Guys will tend to think all your interested in is messin around.
So think of other people in order to really stop... Cause even i will flirt around with almost every girl I see. But I know they don't feel anything for me. xD

no I dont but I used to. The only way to stop is watch out for your own behaviors and if you notice you starting to flirt..stop self control is your only real option Gl hon
