Neo-cons didn't give Iraqi citizens a 2nd thought prior to the lie-based invasion. Suddenly they think of no one but Iraqis. What gives?

It was with the Contras. We had to smuggle it back to the Middle East via Oliver North's connections.
And I love it when historical revisionists tell the asker to read. Nothing makes me laugh harder. Russia was also supporting Saddam at the time, due to fears of Islamic revolt in their Central Asian republics. We were not the only player in that game, and Iraq attacked Iran, not the other way around. Khomeini was too busy executing perceived enemies prior to that.
"Soldiers Point of View", go check your data. A longtime friend in military intelligence told me after the fact that Russia was deeply concerned about Iran and encouraged Saddam.
I get the feeling that if you're a soldier, I'm a reknowned heart transplant surgeon.

Chi, I have no idea what you are talking about . As a true blue neo-Con I could care less if tomorrow I woke up to find all 26 million Iraqi's atomized by our nuclear arsenal. Just so you know Reagan was supporting Saddam because Saddam was in the business of killing Iranians at that time. Great idea by a master world player, what could be better that 2 muslim countries slaughtering each other off.

For a guy that was in the Air Force you are clueless. Khomeini, was our enemy at that time and Russia supported Iran, so we Backed Iraq in the war, the lesser of the 2 Evils, Khomeini, also held U.S. Hostages for over 454 days, so at that point in history Khomeini was what Saddam was to Bush Sr. and the rest of the free world, Dude seriously read a book once and awhile and stop being a Spoon feed Liberal claiming to be an Independent

No one cared for an Iraqi or their children until Bush sent in troupes.Republicans.conservatives,independants,Democrats and all the neos included.
