Well I sit behind my boyfriend in one of my classes. I have seen him making eye contact with another guy who sits across from him two times. I thought this was strange because I never really see guys make eye contact when they are talking. They seemed to be flirty when they were talking. They apparently have known each other for a long time. I have heard the guy make gay jokes at lunch. My boyfriend and this guy are both reserved.
So what do you guys think?

I forgot to mention that the two occasions they made eye contact were like 3 seconds long. Quite awhile in my opinion.

No I'm not jumping to conclusions, I sit RIGHT behind my boyfriend and I can see/hear anything they do.
I'm sorry if I didn't mention that they were SMILING and my my boyfriend was using this tone that he uses when he flirts with other girls.
Never heard him use it when he is around other guys. They also often look over at each other at random times. Sorry if I am being confusing.

You are jumping to conclusions. They could be sharing a private joke, or exchanging a "knowing" look.

they are good friends and often good friends do actually make eye contact during conversations. I do it all the time. But to try to read them being gay into their talking and making eye contact is a bit off. Wait until you see them engaging in sex then maybe you can draw the gay conclusion. Though that may be a frosty friday in June in Miami before that happens...

You are suppose to make eye contact with people when you speak to them. Flirty? Need more details on that. Gay jokes don't mean anything. If they have known each other a long time then they are probably comfortable with each other. I think that you are grasping at straws.

guys can maintain eye contact after talking and not be gay. whole conversations can be held with eye contact alone. guys do make eye contact while talking. and if he is bi, why does that matter?

I dunno. In my opinion, straight guys are more comfortable making eye contact with other guys..
I kinda noticed that when gay guys look at other guys, they look really deep into their eyes..
