i don't really mind!!! in fact, i love the airport! i guess it's cuz i love to travel by plane!!! lol...i love San Francisco International Airport...i've been there sooo many times.

I ended up dating someone that way. My best friend was coming home from somewhere and her connecting flight was still waiting to land in New York as they were under a huge snow storm. I had to wait almost six hours. So I spent it in the airport bar. The bartender was really cute and she thought it was sweet that I had flowers ready for my home bound friend. We ended up chatting and having a few drinks together. After that, I couldn't get her out of my head, went back and asked her out. It was fun while it lasted but in the long run, yes, I do hate having to wait. Bad things happen.

Naw, I'm pretty laid back- I know it's really no one's fault so I just hang out, check out the shops or people watch (a great activity at the airport!) I'll be picking people up from the airport quite frequently in a couple of weeks, so we'll see....

Call airline. Check flight arrival time before your leave for the airport.
Wait in NEAR the airport in your car.
Have your friend call your cell when they have their bags.
Swoop in and pick them up at the curb.

No, I don't mind it. I love to look at airplanes and to watch them take off and land. So if I was waiting for a friend, then it wouldn't bother me at all.
