Is it selfish to go on a flash holiday... when some people in the world can't even afford food?

Well think about it this way. There is no way the world hunger problem can be solved. You have to remember that there are corrupt governments especially in Africa who make it so that people in their country cant afford food. I say as long as you donate every now and then to some good cause then why not go on a flashy holiday????

well, no one in my house knows what a "flash" holiday is- we're thinking "spur of the moment" or "short", or maybe it means "expensive", but anyway... Everyone deserves a break/vacation- so go if you can afford it! Just remember to give to charity also, which of course, we should all do to the extent we can. But that doesn't mean we have to deprive ourselves of pleasures we have worked for. I just took my 2 grandsons to England for 2 weeks this summer and we had a fabulous time- worth every cent of the exorbitant cost! But, we also do "Mitzvah"- good deeds- throughout the year to the best of our ability. SO, GO!!! and have a good, guilt-free time!

I do feel bad about it but there is only so much you can do, there are so many people over in those places that wont even let there people eat. It is such a sad world. I wish that there was more that we could do besides send money, it just doesn't seem to be enough.
