All real numbers except where the denominator is 0.
x^2 - 4x = 0
<=> x (x-4) = 0
<=> x = 0 or 4.
So the domain is all real numbers except 0 and 4.

The denominator of a fraction can not be zero therefore
x^2-4x can not = 0
factoring and solving for x...
x(x-4) can not = 0
so x can not = 0 and x can not =4
Domain is all real numbers except 0 and 4

All real numbers can be the input. There are no fractions. No imaginary no's. All real numbers could fill this rule. Hopefully this is a one-to-one function. That is another story!
