What a coincidence, white racists seem to have no problem contradicting everything they say. Affirmative Action was originally created to help women and elderly/disabled people who felt discriminated against. It wasn't until years later, where other groups, including blacks , became a part of it. There has been many debates amongst black people over the program, many blacks are against the measure. It's not a guarantee that the blacks who've entered college because of this program will graduate. Many become overwhelmed and eventually drop out, if they're not use to the rigorous academic environment, it's doubtful they will be able to get through 4years of it.. What is this thing about whites and black people using slavery. I'm black, i spend way more time around them, then i'm sure you do.. Very rarely do i here slavery used in reference to current issues about race, and the ones who do are extremist. So they should find more things in common, like hating others. Don't claim to you're tired of blacks complaining, if you fail to present a few accurate examples.. They use slavery, and they blame the white man, there also quick to scream racism. Yeah, openly insult someones entire heritage, you're a f*cking racist. If black people do it to, then so are they. You don't want to be called a racist, stop saying racist S*hit. Would you die tommorow, if you took a day off from commenting on how awful blacks are..

Because every man, woman and child is a member
of "the human race", we're all related--regardless of
our differences in skin-color or nationality.
But, If I were you, I would not call any black person
"brotha" or "sistah": that could be taken the wrong
way -- as racial-stereotyping.

Sure... although this is assuming your actually friends with the black guy. I wouldnt just do it randomly to strangers.

I grew up in the city.. so "brotha" and "cuz" are pretty common slang terms for me, for white and black friends.

The blackman might find that offensive.

If a white man finds the need to call the blackman "brotha", he should stick with using the word "brother".

It seems less patronizing & he's less likely to become a victim of gang violence or a "beat down" from "da homiez".

of course, i have seen it happen in many instances but just like most informal names, you will want to be somewhat acquainted with the individual in question before calling him brotha

depends...
A strange white man calling a strange black man "brotha" might get hit.
But my hubby (he's black) has a white friend that calls him that all the time and it's fine.

Yes because the word brutha is from the heart and soul not a color scheme.
