I don't need a new drilling. I definitely need 1) new indoor equipment ... basically a new tank.... I currently have two tanks... don't know what for??? only one well though... I might want to have at the same time 2) a new pump dropped into my existing well. I am currently without water and need to figure out costs tonight. Please advise on ballpark cost. (House 2000 sq. feet in Chicago... don't know if it matters.) Also, soft water system is fairly new and OK. Thanks!!!

New pump and pressure tank---8-900.0 installed depending on sizes---could be higher though...what problem are you having? could be a bad pressure sensor on the tank not turning on the pump?
This site has free quotes from various local contractors--might be worth checking out to get an idea of costs.
