OT! I hate it...basically whoever wins the cointoss has the advantage and will usually go on to win the game. Sudden death is bs. NFL OT should be like college OT. There are many more rules I don't agree with, but I'll leave it at that. edit: lol I had to add this-I agree, I think players should be able to celebrate however they want when they get a td.

For TD celebration, I'd say that the rules should soften a bit.
This is the big leagues here, and if the NFL Comish still thinks that celebrating a TD is a "taunt" then they have to grow up.
In the NFL, no one cried unless their injured or lost an important game. No one will get upsete if taunted... or should be upset.

Not serious enough. The fine should be an automatic full game pay then maybe these idiots would stop all together. They want to dance and celebrate then go back and play sand lot ball. There no place for hot dogging in the NFL.

It is a kinder garden of many spoiled players. The majority aren't.
What's wrong with the NFL is the fact that it's just entertainment for many viewers and not a football game.

Why are the rules tough? Because it's the NFL, not the WWE. It's not a show. Getting excited is one thing, acting like a moran is another. It's called a "Touchdown" because thats literally what the used to do. It's not called a "Put on the HOF jacket". What has the sport come to? Tom Landry is rolling in his grave.

I'll wait to see if the NFL rules are too rough, hopefully Vick never steps on the field again. Then you will know a 7500 dollar fine is really nothing. Wasn't last yrs fine up by 15,000.

the nfl may fine you, but in high school football they'll throw flags lol my jr year i intercepted a ball, ran for a TD, and then spiked it....personal foul 15 yards. ouch. Since we were up by 21 and had two minutes left to play, coach wasn't that mad about it, but i made an effort to never spike the ball again

What they were really pissed about was him mocking them about that so called illegal taping.
Guess next they will be wanting to pour wax in the defense's ears so they can't hear the quarter back.

you can't pull anything out of your sock or the goalpost and do a dance with it
and thats about as strick as it gets. Everything else other than mocking the other team is legal. As long as it isn't more than a few seconds
I think thats a good rule
