As a friend, I'll tell her to stay away from unscrupulous people who have ulterior motives and are using her for personal gains...

I'll ask her to do the following:

1. Wipe out the insurgents
2. Pursue the north/south railway project, it can decongest the city
3. Renovate our international airport (NAIA Terminal 1), its so old, remember our airport gives the first impression of the country
4. With regards to the airport again, I hope there will be an easy mode of transport going to and from the airport (extending the MRT going to the airport maybe).
5. Don't let the opposition stop you from doing your job. As you said in your SONA, "I'd rather be right that popular"

I'm not really a pro-GMA person but for me, she's doing a good job, i.e. peso appreciation, promotion of local tourism

I'll tell her to restore the death penalty, make education in private and public schools free or cheaper, make divorce available in this country, and forget about what the church has to say with population control. I'll tell her to make sure the social service system REALLY works, put all corrupt officials in jail and if she can't do all that, then resign.

I'd tell her that with the ZTE contract, China will know every move the government makes.
I'd tell her that having 50 children look at 2 TV screens every day won't teach them beans. Teaching involves also answering questions - Besides, to improve the quality of students, you need to improve the quality of teachers.
I'd tell her the next time she goes somewhere, to just stay there.

1. Do everything in her power to make Mindanao peaceful before her term ends. Mindanao can be an important catalyst for economic recovery.

2. Build more LRT's or trains and interconnecting railways to lessen traffic and pollution. As I observed, first world nations with the exception of USA (cept in New York) rely heavily on railways to serve commuters and to transport goods and products.

3. Ask congress to legalize gun making and make Danao as the center for weapons production. (Arm the Philippine military with home made guns!)

4. Issue an executive order to relocate Malacanang Palace somewhere in the Visayan region. Manila is too crowded and too politicized. Make the current location of the palace as a museum or park.

5.Issue an executive order that will make the amount appropriated for pork barrel be based on economic growth. For example if the economy grew by 6 percent then the total pork barrel for congress will be 600 millions. (not sure if executive branch has the power over pork barrel of congress)

6. Issue an executive order to add business classes in the curriculum of PMA students. It might help them understand that Coup d'etat is bad for business, bad for the economy.

7.Add another 1 billion pesos in budget to create more jobs in the government specially in BIR and customs. Hire more agents and inspectors to stop tax evasions, and smugglings and corruptions in these departments.

8. Issue an executive order that will create a special court solely for tax evasion cases.

9.Appropriate more funds for science and technology. Give government grants for highly intellectual people in order to have their own research and projects in the fields of science, technology and economics.

10.Issue an executive order that will make a portion of OFW's income be appropriated to pension plans or investment funds. OFW's can opt to invest or not for their future.

I will tell her to invest on my aircraft carrier with "katig". This will be a real "first" in the world. All made up of bamboo! From keel to outriggers. And we will have fighter jets made of bamboo, too. Should be invisible in radar.

And on her maiden flight, other than the President, all YAPPERs shall have a first go. We shall do mock up battles in air and sea, throwing siopao at targets.
edit: maiden voyage rather, what maiden flight? unless the aircraft carrier doubles up as starship, too!

Ask her to ensure that all should have access to education. They should have allotted more time and funds to education 20 or 30 years ago. Its not too late though.

On a personal note, I'll tell her to tell her husband to stop meddling in government issues. He should just concentrate in getting well and being a better person.

I'd remind her to tell her husband to keep off from participating or entering into any business deals which might implicate her as well. "Back off"..that would be the exact words she should tell the First Gentleman and mean it, too.

I will tell her to prosecute those close to her (not moro moro) and put them in jail if guilty. The spectacle of Mike Arroyo in jail (if really guilty) will erase all doubts she means business, and event her harshest critics will stop since they will not have any more accusations to throw at her.

I tell myself : Dream on..
