And where? Are there still any around? I worked at one when I was a teenager and had a great time, many great memories.

Wow...I don't remember the name but it was outside of MT Home, ID. That was way back when I was in the USAF. Over 20 years ago! Once I hit the lottery I will bring the old drive-in back to my local community!

The Plainsman in Laramie, Wyoming. It's closed for good now, but the screen is still up and an artist covered it with a mural titled "Tom Mix Transcends the Veil."

There is a working drive-in here in Sheridan, Wyoming but it is only open during the summer and only shows double bills of movies that were in the local multiplex the previous winter. If they actually made an effort to show real drive-in fare, I'd go to a few screenings before they, inevitably, give up the ghost.

I learned a great number of things by going to drive-in movies when I was younger. I even watched a couple of movies too.

Good evening...We had two outdoor theaters here where I live in Illinois. One was called the 22nd street drive-in and the other was the Woodford St Drive-in. Does that bring back good memories! They closed about 20 yrs ago but I have heard there is one in Springfield and another one around the Danville area I believe. Thanks for the memories...Have a great tomorrow.

Oki i've got have been given somewhat some. i think of the final shot which i myself enjoyed replaced into that of 'Brokeback Mountain' the place you spot the mountain postcard and the shirts on a hanger. it is a proper user-friendly shot with plenty meaning. in case you think of approximately it, while Ennis unearths the shirts in Jack's room, they're hidden at the back of the closet. interior the final shot they're putting exterior, nearby a window and it in a fashion symbolizes their relationship. nicely this is my interpretation besides =]. people say that the ending of Brokeback Mountain replaced into very uninteresting and it would have been greater "useful". In my undemanding opinion i think existence would not continuously have "useful" and large endings. Brokeback did nicely in exhibiting between the truths of lives. It replaced into lifelike, it symbolized some thing, it replaced into significant to the two the aim marketplace and the character Ennis. A cliched ending shot might probably have been Jack's ghost dancing on the mountain... I additionally rather enjoyed the ending shot of the 'Of Mice and adult men' directed by employing Gary Sinise. It merely made me burst into tears as quickly as I observed them mutually finding at one yet another and walking off because of the fact it made me think of that this replaced into how they might and would have been however the terrible fact is that it is not any longer occurring. It merely merely places the full element throughout the time of. That desires do no longer come real and issues do no longer continuously go in accordance to plot. Ah I by no skill rather gave plenty theory approximately ending scenes in the past. stable question. And it is real, some action pictures i'm no longer able to even remember how they ended even although i myself like them.
