I have a test tomm. I need to know the locations of some of the countries in the continents Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa. Do you know where i could find a good map? and also any tips or tricks on memorizing where the countries are located and which continents they are in. Thanks!!

I think that by writing in the names of the countries on the maps might help you. Of course the names will already be on there, so you might just have to either simply write over the written names, or trace the countries onto another piece of tracing paper, just making the outlines, and then writing the names.

It's sort of helping your fingers remember, and it seems to work.

Definitely use notecards, write countries on the front and location/continents on the other. Always works for me:) for maps? go to http://www.cia.gov, pick a country from the list. hope it helps.

A former geography instructor of mine had us draw the maps with the biggest cities, rivers, and so on. It worked fairly nicely. in case you get particularly sturdy you ought to be waiting to attraction to them from memory.
