I'm trying to get a gift for the lovely guy that I'm seeing. He's lent me The Time Traveller's Wife by by Audrey Niffenegger recently and I thought would be nice if I got him something similar. Can you recommend any good books you're reading?

Of course he will have to buy other books to fill the commitment, but the SF Book Club has a wide range. It doesn't have very much in the range of romance; but for alternate history stores it is a great location.
