The Spartans gave us military discipline. they invented the 'boot camp'. They were the first to have state sponsored schools. They bred the ultimate warrior. Many nations of the past and present reflected upon their discipline for inspiration.

I'm not absolutely sure how all they influenced us but I know they opened our minds to military strategy.
