Kokopelli may have something there although you can skip the dryer---just hang the clothes out the window while driving....actually, just tie em to the doors and go through a car wash---kill two birds.
Try a semi truck accessorie outfit for a portable 12 volt microwave or an RV dealer.

Toaster ovens and microwave ovens are two entirely different products and do not cook or heat food the same way. I use them both. The toaster oven is particular good when you want to heat something and keep it 'crispy', which most microwave ovens don't do. There is nothing unsafe about microwave ovens unless the door doesn't seal completely.

The other thing you can do is buy a car transformer that plugs into the cigarette lighter that converts 12v to main power and buy a normal microwave you can use in your car and home.
