Not well. When I was young it was considered bad luck to compliment a child so criticism was added to it, and to this day I wait for the bad half.

I say thank you, smile and let them know that I really appreciate it. I hate when people fight back and don't know how to take a compliment.

Not well. If i get a compliment, like your hair looks great today. I'll be like thanks, but normally it sucks. Or like you did good in soccer today. I'll be like, sorry I sucked so much I'll try harder next time. I know I suck at soccer. I don't know, I guess my self esteem is low. I also am quite rude for not accepting compliments. I don't know... maybe you could teach me how to be a better person.

I say, "Thank you very much!" With a big smile.
I learned that if you don't accept a compliment, it insults the judgment of the person telling you how nice you look, etc.

depends u know.. because sometimes compliments comes w. good intention and some comes w. something different like "pervert compliments".. u thought its a good compliment but between the lines.. u know.. but usually i just smile and say thank you..

I get embarassed! Its so rare that I ever get a compliment it confuses me a fair bit! So I probably look kinda gormless if i ever get complimented!

Depends on what mood I'm in and what kind of compliment it is. Like if somebody told me I have beautiful toes and I'm feeling great, then I'd tell them they've got sexy knees.
