why does he think my mom should live with me?

my mom has been living with my brother and his wife and helping them take care of their kids but i guess my brother told me mom that its time to leave. and i live in my own apartment by myself and im 19 and i was telling my boyfriend ron that my mom might be comeing to live with me and he said good you need to live with your mom. my boyfriend is 23 and still lives with his parents. why does he want my mom to live with me? and no he doesnt have a crush on her.

MY guess would be is that he worries about you living alone.
