He was surprisingly having strong rebounds during the first half of last season. On the second half, his stats gone down a little but however he was still considered a good contributor to the Knicks. Hopefully he'll contribute more in PPG this coming season and that would make him a more recognizable player.

He's pretty good. Gets solid numbers in almost all categories, especially rebounding. He's got good size, rebounds of 10.4. ppg of 10.7 so I think he's above average. His points could be higher if he played on a different team. However, I believe most of his impact last year was due in large part to his relative anonymity. Nobody knew who he was so they didn't pay attention to him or strategize against him. Element of surprise. Don't expect him to repeat those same numbers after the Knicks traded for Zach Randolph. Randolph will take many of his boards away and even more of his points. Compare them at nba.com and you'll notice how close they are in most categories. Randolph scores more but has almost the same rebounds so Randolph will take the starting job and many minutes away from Lee.

He isn't great but he plays really hard. Sometimes heart is more important than physical gifts. He puts in a lot of effort and gets a double double each night... He won't ever lead the league in scoring but he can give you that needed lift from the bench. He is similar to sam cassell in the nineties (rockets). He is instant points, hustle and defense. He does the things a lot of players take for granted. He is a great cog for any team, he can fit in and instantly give you numbers.

Yes he is. A very tough competitor, he's one of the few bright spots of the New York Knicks. He is a very active rebounder especially at the offensive end and good defender.
For me, he should be given starter's minute as a 6th man to contribute immensely, to give them a double-double maybe 8 out of 10 games ratio.

He's a hard worker that's for sure. I didn't really know the man until he won the MVP for the Rookie Challenge. There he demonstraded clearly what he can do on the court if given a chance to have more minutes.

He is certainly a positive influence and a difference maker. He's not doing anything that hasn't been done before, he's not absolutely amazing, but you would want him on your team before 9 out of 10 players in the league.

He's slightly better than average. Plays hard and always hustling so he wins the fans over, but he's never going to become a star. Nice player to have on your team, but you better have 3 or 4 better scoring options on your team because he will never carry you.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the thumbs' down even though basically every answer says the same thing that he is a nice player, but nothing to get too excited about.

I wouldn't say really good just yet. He has talent to be good but is not yet at the level of really good. He does the dirty work very well to help the team win. That does not yet put him at the level of a really good player. Whether he will be really good is still a question to be answered.

Yes of course. double double almost every night. consistent. Good attitude.
however, not a very good defender.
So far, drafting Lee is Isiah's best transaction as the Knicks GM.
Edit: why the thumbs down?
