Is so annoying. I am in 7th grade, yet when I'm in her class I feel like I'm in 1st grade. It's SO annoying! She always gives us these packets to do in class and then she sits on her butt and does nothing. If she's not on the computer, she's ridiculing how all our work is wrong - even though most of the time I'm right and had down EXACTLY what she said. I have 2 really good examples...
1) Today we had a huge test that took up all day (DRA), so while it was study center, they gave us the choice to go outside. My friends were at the choir room getting some Info. when they made this announcment. I went up to my math teacher and said "Uh, I know my friends will want to go outside, so can you tell them when they get back?" and she said yes, so I told her their names. Anyways, when they got their she wouldn't let them come outside!!!! She completely lied to me and then called my one friend a lier when she went to the bathroom a few minutes after asking to go outside. I don't get it!

2) She made us all clean out our lockers (because all the teachers agreed to do that.) but she came around and checked if our locker is clean. It's none of her business - why should she care? It's our locker - it's our say if it's clean or not!
Anyways, That's not even half of it! I have a little white board in my locker (which is allowed) and she didn't like what it said. It only said "Party Like a Rockstar" and it's because it's an inside joke - yet she yelled at me and made me erase it. What can I do?

THIS IS NOT NORMAL! My cool teachers work with us and let us act like the young adults we are! You're retarded! She actually yelled at my friends because they asked to go outside! I don't get ur fricken problem. I may have wasted 5 points on this question - but ur about to lose a lot more - cuz yah know wut hahahahahaha

That is nothing! Ive had teachers that come to school completely stoned and we never learn anything. For it being like 1st grade be happy, when you get into higher math you would kill to do something easy and not have math problems that take an entire page up (I'm in pre-calc which is college level). Her not letting your friends go outside, well that's not fun but maybe she forgot or another teacher decided that no more people could go outside. The locker is not a big deal, she made you erase party like a rock star that's all! You will have teachers so much worse than her so enjoy still having recess and being in a easy math class!

That's pretty normal - she's the teacher so she can say who goes outside or not. And you are not the judge of whether or not your locker is clean. As far as I'm aware, the locker is school property, not yours. So, are you going to tell me I'm retarded now too? Because you didn't like my answer?

my geometry teacher was like that. she made crazy rules that were unnecessary.
*she never explained things correctly
*if someone had a snack they had to share it with everyone, including her.
*i ended up failing that class even though i went for extra help she wasn't good at explaining anything!
*students more than once corrected HER on the math she was doing
*the one time we ever did anything fun was when we brought brownies in, but we had to measure them and write a paragraph about it!
i swear her favorite line was "not many people did well in this class on this test"
of course not it was a boring class and she never explained anything!

Wow. Are you learning math in her class? If so, she is doing her job just fine. Keep your friends close, keep your locker clean, and study hard.

your teacher seems really insecure and evidently does not have control over the kids, when teachers yell it's usually because they don't know what to do, and if your not learning anything that just makes it worse, I had a teacher sort of like that... but at least I got an A in the class, if it really gets out of hand talk to the school councelor about it, your math teacher is obviously imcompetent, do you go to private school? they seem alot stricter than public schools

wow.....i have had worse my psanish teacher always gave hw to other classes but not my class and shed yell at us and she is humungus they had to widen her door in her classroom and she makes us do everythign for her and she yells at us if we dont do it fast enough
story.....she asked me my firned and this other girl to go outside to the parking lot unlock her car with the keys get her a heater then go back inside but me being my stupid self locked us out having to walk around that school and back in just in time for our science teacher to catch us
my spanish teacher was soooo much worse and this happend in 6th grade.

That sounds horrible! This girl had an english teacher kinda like that last year. Maybe you can ask to switch classes, that's what she did ( i can't believe it worked! she got to change teachers! )
